A super impressive 27 year old single malt Laphroaig, released as part of the Director’s Special series from The Single Malts of Scotland range by Elixir Distillers. This well aged Islay whisky was matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel with only 210 bottles being filled. Classic sweet and salty nature with wonderfully phenolic smoke typical of this whisky.
